Best Surf Beaches in Gran Canaria

EL ROQUE

This Spot its a 300 m from El Picacho,
an amazing wave in the north of island.

BOQUINES

A wide bay with rocky reef breaks at both
ends. on the eastern end is a righthander,
giving long rides, best at mid tide. the wave
on the western side of the bay may be shorter
but can be fun due to the radical take off.

QUINTANILLA

You are in Bañaderos, You walk to the
beach, and near the beach is the point break.

EL LLORET

This spot is truly worth surfing if you hit it
at the right time. Starts breaking later
september early october through the winter
months.

LA CICER

Not a long ride at all, Normally breaking
all at once. Also over populated with
bodyboarders, much more able to ride steep
closeout that Cicer is known for.

EL CONFITAL

It's a great wave. The locals are crazy but
good people. the only problem is that there
are too many people when it gets good, so
that maybe 5 want to get the same wave.

PLAYA DEL HOMBRE

It is one of the best surf spots along the
island's east coast. Covered with dark brown,
smooth sand the beach break of the Playa
del Hombre isn’t visible from the highway
since lies right beneath the village.

PLAYA DEL INGLES

Good for beginners. You will find the better
waves at the corner of the dunes. Sandy
bottom and works best in summer.

MASPALOMAS

At the left and right of the lighthouse. On
the right rocky bottom, on the left sand and
stones. Best in winter.

ARGUINEGUIN

Its a good place to surfers and longboarders,
but if you do bodyboard, there isn´t to strong.
Waves are soft and usually there are a lot
of people.
